Two common conditions that are closely associated with one another,
each with its own causes, symptoms, and treatment options.

BPH

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

The difficulty or a constant urge to urinate caused by a blocked urethra.1 This is a non-cancerous swelling of the prostate gland and commonly occurs in men, particularly those aged 50 years and above.2

  • Frequent urination
  • Dribbling after urination
  • Urinating more often at night
  • Constant urge to urinate

Erectile Dysfunction

The persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for intercourse.3 This may also be seen as underlying signs of health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, or a side-effect of certain medications.4

Erection hardness may vary:

  • Large but not erect
  • Erect but unable to penetrate
  • Enough for penetration but not fully erect
  • Erect and completely rigid
